It seems like a miracle that Siesta Key again was extremely fortunate to dodge the bullet and was
spared the terrible devastation that hurricane Ian brought to other parts of Southwest Florida.
The hurricane was mostly a rain and wind event on Siesta Key and in the Sarasota area.
We were scared when extreme storm surge
was forecasted for our beautiful island.
We are extremely thankful, that the only signs of a storm at Midnight Cove II are a few
large trees that have been damaged..
Our hearts go out to all the people who had to experience the devastating force of this incredibly terrible hurricane.
We feel very sorry about all the devastation which has been caused by Ian to our neighboring counties.
